When are we updating to 1.8 ?

Just a question, when is the server updating to 1.8 ?

And is the map going to reset ?

Me personally want the map restarted, because everybody on the server is almost done with everything and it is good to spawn in new chunks.

What do you guys think about a map restart when we're updating to 1.8?

there has been a big fiasco in the bukkit/spigot community over the past few weeks with a former bukkit dev trying to make a copyright claim over his code (which is a lot of code). Bukkit is slowing down a lot with a lot of people leaving and spigot is coming through, slowly. They were forced to take down the jar until the code was removed. I dont expect the server to update to 1.8 soon as not many plugins have updated. Spigot for 1.8 is avaliable, well, it may be hard to find as you cannot get it *legally* and then update it with the binary patchers they have been making (these are legal).
